Sahibabad: Inderprastha Engineering College (IPEC), located in Industrial Area Site-4, Sahibabad, hosted its three-day annual sports fest ‘SPARDHA 2025’ from April 4 to April 6, 2025. The grand inaugural ceremony witnessed the esteemed presence of College Chairman Vishnu Saran, Vice Chairman Puneet Agarwal, Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Dean (Student Welfare) Prof. (Dr.) Meenakshi Sharma, Head of Mechanical Engineering Department and Convener Prof. (Dr.) S.P. Singh, Co-conveners Assistant Professor Shalini Singh (ECE) and Assistant Professor Ajay Chauhan (AIML), Sports Officer Ujjwal Tomar, along with faculty members, staff, and enthusiastic students.
This year, SPARDHA 2025 saw participation from over 600 students across a wide range of sports competitions. The event showcased exemplary sportsmanship, teamwork, and discipline among the participants, making it a celebration of youth energy and unity.
The campus came alive with vibrant energy and excitement as students competed with enthusiasm and high spirits. From the very first day, the fest created an atmosphere filled with competitive zeal and camaraderie.
Speaking on the occasion, Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar said, “Events like these play a pivotal role in developing leadership qualities, collaboration, discipline, and self-confidence among students.”
Sports Officer Ujjwal Tomar shared that this year’s fest includes a thrilling lineup of indoor and outdoor games such as cricket, volleyball, badminton, kabaddi, football, and table tennis.
SPARDHA 2025 not only provided students with an opportunity to exhibit their athletic talents but also served as a platform to foster togetherness and sports culture within the campus.
