Grand 'Youth Summit-2025' Organized on 'One Nation – One Election' at Venkateshwara University


Meerut.Venkateshwara University/Institute, located on the National Highway Bypass in Meerut, hosted a grand 'Youth Summit-2025' centered on the theme 'One Nation – One Election'. The event witnessed the participation of Uttar Pradesh Minister of Vocational Education and Skill Development (Independent Charge), Kapil Dev Agarwal, as the Chief Guest.

Addressing the gathering, Kapil Dev Agarwal highlighted the multifaceted benefits of implementing the 'One Nation – One Election' Bill. He emphasized that this initiative would not only result in substantial savings of time and public funds but also significantly enhance voter turnout while strengthening the spirit of nationalism across the country.

Founder Chairman of Venkateshwara Group, Sudhir Giri, in his address, stated that simultaneous elections would weaken divisive forces based on caste, religion, and regionalism, thereby accelerating the nation’s progress towards unity and development. Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi described the bill as a historic step towards nation-building, asserting that its implementation would help curb criminal activities and channel the youth towards the mainstream of national development.

The event commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp before the statue of Goddess Saraswati at the Abdul Kalam Azad Auditorium. The ceremony was attended by Minister Kapil Dev Agarwal, Founder Chairman Sudhir Giri, Pro-Chancellor Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Krishnakant Dave, Udaygiri Goswami, Shubham Chaudhary, and Himanshu Tyagi.

During the one-day summit, several distinguished academicians, including Registrar Prof. (Dr.) Piyush Pandey, Dr. Madhu Chaturvedi, Dr. Rajesh Singh, Dr. Dinesh Gautam, Dr. C.P. Singh, Dr. S.N. Sahu, Dr. L.S. Rawat, Dr. Anna Eric Brown, Dr. Manish Sharma, Dr. Rajvardhan, Dr. Ashutosh Singh, Dr. Ashwini Saxena, Dr. Dheeraj Dubey, Dr. Omprakash Singh, Dr. Anil Kumar Jaiswal, Dr. Snehlata Goswami, Dr. Neetu Panwar, Dr. Jyoti Singh, and Dr. Manjari Rana, were also present.

Prominent attendees from the academic community, including Himani Chauhan, Harpreet Kaur, Huma, Tahseer, Pooja Kumari, Anusha Karnwal, Sumandeep Kaur, Himani Garjola, Pooja Eri, Saharsh Walter, Shuaib, Akhil Kumar, Anuj Kumar, Zubair, S.S. Baghel, and Maruf Chaudhary, marked their presence. From the Meerut campus, Director Dr. Pratap Singh and Media Coordinator Vishwas Rana were among the notable attendees.

The summit concluded with a collective resolve to work towards the creation of a strong, unified, and developed India. The program was efficiently anchored by Media Incharge Vishwas Rana.
