Sahibabad. Indraprastha Engineering College witnessed a vibrant culmination of its two-day annual techno-cultural fest ‘Udbhav 2025’, with a spectacular display of talent, creativity, and cultural diversity. On the second day, the college auditorium—Atal Sabhagar—came alive with a series of dynamic performances and competitions. A total of 27 events, including stage plays, group dances, musical performances, dance battles, jugalbandi, fashion shows, literary evening "Jazbaaton Ki", and a live concert by Noor Band, kept the audience thoroughly engaged.
Students who excelled in various competitions were felicitated with mementos and certificates by Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Puneet Aggarwal, Director Prof. (Dr.) Ajay Kumar, Principal Dr. Vikas Gupta, and Fest Convener Prof. (Dr.) Meenakshi Sharma.
The fashion show, with themes such as Tropical Paradise, Runway of Destiny, Glamour and Elora, and Battle of Heroes vs Villains, showcased students walking the ramp in traditional and fusion attire, adding glamour to the evening.
Theatre and Social Themes Take Center Stage; Cultural Night Celebrates Diversity
In the street play competition, students raised awareness on critical social issues like alimony, gender abuse, corruption, domestic violence, and girls’ rights. Participating institutions included Maharaja Agrasen College, Dayal Singh Evening College, Rajdhani College, Indraprastha Engineering College, and Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce. Their compelling performances left a lasting impact on the audience.
The group dance contest ‘Jashn-e-Naach’ witnessed energetic participation from students of Keshav Mahavidyalaya, Netaji Subhash University of Technology, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, Vivekananda College, Kamala Nehru College, JIMS Rohini, and Mata Sundri College for Women, who enthralled spectators with their diverse and synchronized dance routines.
A major highlight of the fest was the live performance by Noor Band, which captivated the audience with popular tracks like ‘Ramta Jogi’, ‘Yeh Raat Mein Jo Nasha Hai’, and ‘Jhoom Baba’. The band’s reinterpretation of mystical poetry by Kabir and Baba Farid resonated deeply with the audience, delivering powerful messages of spirituality, unity, and humanity.
The fest concluded with a high-energy DJ Night, where students danced enthusiastically, marking a joyous end to Udbhav 2025. The successful execution of the event was supported by dedicated student coordinators including Asmita, Himanshi, Himanshu, Disha, Anusha, Yash, Aashna, Sakshi, Yashika, Sanjeet, Nishant, Ankit, Yukti, Ananya, and Varun.
