Meerut.The Department of Computer Applications at Meerut Institute of Technology, Meerut organized a vibrant and intellectually charged One-Day Hackathon on April 26, 2025, commemorating World Intellectual Property Day. The event aimed to cultivate innovation, technical expertise, and collaborative spirit among students and witnessed enthusiastic participation from diverse academic backgrounds.
The Hackathon was structured into four exciting and stimulating competitions:

Robo Rush – A robotics challenge that tested participants' engineering and programming prowess through intense bot battles and automation tasks, attracting 125 students.

Graphic Guru – A creative design competition where over 100 participants showcased their graphic design talents through innovative posters.

Brainware – A quiz and puzzle-based event designed to challenge students' logical reasoning, general knowledge, and mental agility.

Code Crusade – An engaging coding competition that added further diversity and excitement to the day's activities.
The event commenced with an inspiring address by Director Dr. KLA Khan, who emphasized the importance of creativity, innovation, and lifelong learning in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. Following his address, Principal (PC) Dr. Himanshu Sharma shared insights on the significance of such initiatives in fostering innovation and teamwork among students. Head of Department Dr. Pankaj Sharma further encouraged students to continuously explore emerging technologies, maintain their curiosity, and believe in their ability to drive meaningful change through knowledge and creativity.
The event was skillfully anchored by Ms. Shivi Singhal, whose poise and professionalism added elegance to the proceedings. Coordination efforts by Ms. Sonam Tomar and Ms. Aditi Sharma ensured the smooth execution of the entire event.
Participants demonstrated exceptional enthusiasm, critical thinking, and creative problem-solving skills across all categories, transforming the competition into a dynamic learning experience.
