"Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025: A Confluence of Innovation and Education"
Meerut: In a groundbreaking initiative aimed at fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and technological excellence in India, MIET, MIET Incubation Forum Meerut, India Exposition Mart Limited Greater Noida, and AKTU Innovation Hub are set to organize Creathon 2025 during Bharat Shiksha Expo 2025 (Season 2). Scheduled from April 24 to 26, 2025, at the India Expo Mart in Greater Noida, this grand event stands as a testament to India's burgeoning innovation ecosystem. It aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s mission for a ‘Uttam Pradesh’.
Traditionally, career choices in India have revolved around MBBS, B.Tech, and CA, limiting students' perspectives. However, Creathon aims to challenge conventional thinking and inspire students to embrace entrepreneurship as a viable and empowering career path.
Supported by key government bodies and industry giants such as the Government of Uttar Pradesh, Startup India, MSME, Greater Noida Industrial Development Authority, NITI Aayog, Ministry of Electronics & IT Startup Hub, and corporate leaders like HP, Volt Post, AWS Academy, Delhi Angels Den, TiE Delhi-NCR, and TiE Founders Club, the event is set to redefine India’s innovation and entrepreneurship landscape.
The expo will feature a series of high-energy competitions, including Ideathon, Codethon, Hackathon, and Startathon, along with skill-based workshops on design thinking, robotics, 3D prototyping, and bio-inspired innovation, offering participants a chance to transform their ideas into reality. Adding to the excitement, the event will host spectacular demonstrations such as drone shows, robo-races, robo-wars, and robo-soccer, blending technology with entertainment.
To secure a spot in this prestigious event, participants must first prove their mettle in pre-qualifier rounds held across four districts. The Meerut pre-qualifier round is scheduled for April 4, 2025, at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET), Meerut.
According to Rehan Ahmed, CEO of MIET Incubation Forum, "Creathon 2025 is not just a competition; it is a movement. Winners will not only earn recognition and cash prizes but also gain the opportunity to showcase their talent before industry leaders, investors, and mentors, who can help propel their ideas to new heights."
Open to school and college students, budding entrepreneurs, startup founders, and industry innovators, Creathon 2025 serves as a unique platform to shape the future of an Atmanirbhar Bharat.
