Meerut: The MIET is set to host its highly anticipated three-day annual cultural fest, Kolahal 2025, from March 26 to March 28. Preparations for the event have been finalized, and the organizing committee shared an overview of the program during a press conference on Monday.
Dr. Honey Tomar, Dean of Student Welfare and the chief organizer, revealed that this year marks the 14th edition of Kolahal. He stated that the festival will feature a diverse array of performances, each day themed uniquely to ensure an engaging and dynamic experience for attendees.

Day 1 (March 26): The festivities will kick off with a series of musical performances, Swar Sangam (singing competition), a fashion show, and an electrifying DJ Night.

Day 2 (March 27): The excitement will continue with Foxtrot Dance, the high-energy Battle of Bands, and a live performance by the Madari Band.

Grand Finale (March 28): The final day will witness the felicitation of meritorious students, followed by engaging activities such as theatrical performances and an open mic session. The highlight of the evening will be the live concert by Punjabi music sensations Jassie Gill and Babbal Rai, who will enthrall the audience with their chart-topping hits, including "Baapu Zimidar," "Nikle Current," "Guitar Sikhda," "Tere Layi," "Kudi Tu Pataka," "Yaar Jatt De," "Jatt De Tikane," and "Gabbroo."
The press conference was attended by MIET Group’s Media Manager Ajay Chaudhary, Dr. Honey Tomar, Akhil Gautam, and key members of the student committee, including Shivansh Jindal, Harshit Goyal, Abhishek Mishra, Atharv Gupta, Divyanshi Dixit, and Utkarsh Garg.
With an exhilarating lineup of events and performances, Kolahal 2025 promises to be a grand celebration of music, culture, and youthful enthusiasm.
