Grand Narayani Award 2025 Ceremony Held at MIT, 28 Outstanding Women Honored

"Without Women, Creation is Incomplete" – Kapil Dev Aggarwal

Meerut: The Narayani Award 2025 was organized at Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) under the joint collaboration of the Pariyavaran Evam Swachhata Club and Meerut Udyami Foundation. The event, held in honor of International Women’s Day, recognized 28 exceptional women for their outstanding contributions in the fields of medicine, education, entrepreneurship, journalism, and social service.

Inauguration by Minister Kapil Dev Aggarwal

The event was inaugurated by Kapil Dev Aggarwal, Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Vocational Education & Skill Development. Joining him in lighting the ceremonial lamp were Kushpuri, State Coordinator of BJP’s Small Industries Cell, Pankaj Kumar Gupta, Former National President of the Indian Industry Association, Ayush Piyush Goyal, Director of Pariyavaran Evam Swachhata Club, and Puneet Aggarwal, Vice Chairman of MIT.

“Women Deserve Respect Every Day” – Minister Aggarwal

In his address, Minister Kapil Dev Aggarwal emphasized the indispensable role of women in society, stating, "A world without women is unimaginable. Indian culture grants a special status to women. Religious scriptures depict women as embodiments of power, dedication, and sacrifice. A man requires the support of a woman at every stage of life. Honoring women should not be confined to just one day—it should be an everyday practice."

Empowering Women Entrepreneurs

Ayush Piyush Goyal, Director of Pariyavaran Evam Swachhata Club, also highlighted the significance of women, stating that "Every woman possesses the divine essence of Goddess Durga."

Dr. Madhuri Gupta, CEO of Meerut Udyami Foundation, shared insights into their efforts in promoting agriculture-based startups. She remarked, "We have successfully helped over 50 women entrepreneurs establish startups. Our goal is to reach out to more than 100,000 women in rural areas and empower them through economic opportunities."
