MIET Meerut Hosts Cancer Awareness Lecture on World Cancer Day
The Department of Pharmaceutical Technology at MIET Meerut commemorated World Cancer Day 2025 by hosting an informative guest lecture on February 4th. Dr. Quaisul Hoda, Professor at MIT Meerut, delivered a talk to raise awareness about cancer prevention, detection, and treatment.Dr. Hoda addressed an audience of students, faculty, and healthcare professionals, highlighting recent advancements in cancer research and care. He emphasized the importance of early detection through regular screenings and discussed how lifestyle changes can reduce cancer risk. The lecture also covered the emotional and psychological aspects of cancer, stressing the need for comprehensive patient support.
