Haldwani. The Physiotherapy OPD under the Paramedical Department at MIET Kumaon, Haldwani, was inaugurated in a grand ceremony. The event commenced with the lighting of the lamp by the institution’s Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Puneet Aggarwal, Managing Director Dr. B.S. Bisht, Director Dr. Tarun Saxena, and Gram Pradhan of Lamachaur Khas, Jaswant Singh.
The program began with a Saraswati Vandana performed by the Paramedical and Nursing departments, followed by cultural dance performances by students. Addressing the students, Chairman Vishnu Sharan emphasized the importance of exercise in maintaining physical health amidst today’s fast-paced lifestyle. On this occasion, the Nursing Department’s magazine was also unveiled.
Managing Director Dr. B.S. Bisht encouraged students to work with dedication and commitment. Gram Pradhan Jaswant Singh appreciated the initiative, stating that this OPD would provide essential medical services to local residents without requiring them to travel long distances.
The event was attended by Nursing Department Principal Prof. Usha Paul, Paramedical Department faculty members Dr. Shaifali Kapoor, Dr. Latika Sambal, Arzu Umar, and ACIC Dev Bhumi Foundation CEO Dr. Kamal Rawat. Other notable attendees included Rahul, Kaushalendra Rawat, Vishal Pandey, Neha Rautela, Rakhi Chauhan, Priyanshi, along with faculty members and students.
