Meerut: As part of the five-day Inter-State Youth Exchange Program organized by the Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, Meerut, 27 youth participants from Rajasthan visited the MIET Innovation Center. During their visit, the participants engaged in discussions on design thinking and innovative ideas at the AICTE Idea Lab. Dr. Mohini Preetam Singh, Lab Incharge, introduced them to advanced cutting-edge technologies and inspired them to pursue innovation.Following this, the youth toured the Atal Community Innovation Center (ACIC), supported by NITI Aayog, Government of India. CEO Prashant Kumar Gupta provided a detailed overview of the Atal Community Innovation Center and the Atal Innovation Mission, explaining how these initiatives empower students and innovators by providing them with a robust platform to bring their ideas to life.
At the end of the program, MIET Incubation Forum CEO Rehan Ahmed motivated the participants to embrace entrepreneurship. He emphasized the importance of becoming job creators instead of job seekers and guided them on transforming their innovative ideas into viable business ventures. The participants also explored various startups operating within the incubation center and gained insights into their functioning.
District Youth Officer Yashwant Yadav highlighted that the visit to the innovation center served as a powerful platform not only to promote innovation and entrepreneurship but also to impart technical and business knowledge to the youth.
The program witnessed the presence of Nehru Yuva Kendra Meerut’s Accountant Narendra Tyagi, Sandeep, MIET Chairman Vishnu Sharan, Vice Chairman Puneet Agarwal, Director Dr. S.K. Singh, Media Head Ajay Chaudhary, Akhil, Manoj, and others.
The youth appreciated the interactive and motivational sessions, describing them as beneficial and instrumental in shaping their future aspirations.
