MIET Meerut Concludes Successful AICTE ATAL FDP on VLSI Design Using Nanotechnology

The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) successfully concluded a one-week online Faculty Development Program (FDP) on Recent Trends in VLSI Design Using Nanotechnology on 30th November 2024. Organized under the auspices of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) ATAL, the program attracted over 200 participants, including faculty members, researchers, and professionals from various institutions across India.

The FDP provided a comprehensive overview of the latest advancements in VLSI design and its integration with nanotechnology. Renowned experts from prestigious institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs), National Institutes of Technology (NITs), and international universities delivered insightful lectures on cutting-edge topics. These included nanoelectronics, system-on-chip design, and emerging trends in semiconductor technology. Prominent speakers such as Dr. Mandeep Singh, Dr. Manisha Bharti, Prof. Maxim Pugachevskii, and others shared their expertise, fostering an intellectually stimulating environment.

The program was meticulously coordinated by Dr. Ratneshwar Kumar Ratnesh and Dr. Ashish Kumar Rao, with support from Mis Chitra Sahu, Prof. Subodh Kumar Tripathi, and Prof. Priyank Sharma. Prof. Neha Mittal, Head of the Department, expressed her gratitude to the organizing team and the distinguished speakers, acknowledging the crucial role of Vice Chairman Puneet Agrawal, Director Prof. Sanjay Kumar Singh, and Dean Prof. Sanjeev Kumar Singh in the FDP's success. This initiative not only enhanced participants' knowledge but also promoted collaboration and innovation in the field of VLSI design and nanotechnology, reinforcing MIET's commitment to academic excellence and research.
