Annual Athletic Meet "Spardha" Held at MIET Public School

MIET Public School in Jagriti Vihar, Meerut organized its two-day Annual Athletic Meet "Spardha". The event was inaugurated by chief guest and school chairperson Usha Agarwal, along with chairman Vishnu Sharan, school director Ajay Bansal, and principal Dr. Silky Verma.

On the first day, kindergarten students showcased their talents and enthusiasm through various activities. The program began with a disciplined march past by the children. Students also performed dances and aerobics, demonstrating their artistic abilities and discipline.

Several races were held for the young participants, including bunny race, tomato race, butterfly race, and Santa race. Winners of the different competitions were honored with medals and certificates.

Speaking at the event, chairman Vishnu Sharan emphasized the importance of sports in personality development. He stated, "Sports activities aid in the mental and physical growth of children. Sports teach us the value of hard work. Along with education, values are also essential."

The kindergarten department, led by Mrs. Ahinsa Verma, played a key role in organizing the event. Other staff members including Bulbul Chaudhary, Ajay Chaudhary, Akhil Gautam, and Gaurav also made significant contributions to the program's success.

Through this annual competition, MIET Public School aims to promote physical fitness and sportsmanship among its students from an early age.
