THDC India Limited Awards Certificates to Trainees, Bringing Smiles

In a ceremony held in Khurja, THDC India Limited and Vishnu Education Foundation, in collaboration with Meerut Institute of Technology, distributed certificates to youth from 15 villages who completed a Retail Sales Associate training program. This initiative, part of THDC's Corporate Social Responsibility efforts, aims to provide new employment opportunities to young people in areas affected by the company's thermal power project.

The training program, conducted under the aegis of Tehri Hydro Development Corporation India Limited, seeks to empower local youth with skills that enhance their employability in the retail sector. Executive Director of THDC India Limited Khurja, Kumar Sharad, presented the certificates and expressed his hopes for the trainees' bright futures. He emphasized THDC's commitment to continuing such skill development and employment generation programs.

During the event, General Manager Amardeep highlighted that this training has already opened doors for youth to secure positions in prestigious companies like Reliance Trends and Vishal Mega Mart. The ceremony was attended by senior THDC officials including Vijay Singh Bisht, Rakesh Uniyal, Dahari, and Prabhat Kumar. MIT Meerut's Vice Chairman, Puneet Agarwal, reaffirmed the institution's dedication to organizing similar employment-oriented programs for community development in the future.
