Tech Fest 2024 Showcases Student Innovation at Meerut Institute of Technology

The Meerut Institute of Technology (MIT) recently hosted Tech Fest 2024, an event aimed at fostering technological innovation and creativity among students. The festival, held at MIT's campus on Partapur Bypass, featured various technical activities and competitions designed to encourage and showcase student talent.

Over 300 students registered for the event, with 275 actively participating across five categories: technical poster presentations, working and non-working models, innovative projects, and hardware and software hackathons. Tech Fest was inaugurated by Campus Director Dr. Alok Chauhan, Director Dr. KLA Khan, Principal Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Dean Academics Dr. Gaurav Sharma, Dr. Himanshu Sharma, Dr. MIH Ansari, Madhuri Gupta.

Standout achievements included Vanshika's first-place win in the poster presentation category with her "River Water Treatment" concept. Abhiraj topped the hardware hackathon with a "Robotic Arm" project, while Love Kush secured first place in model presentation with a "Home Safety Alarm" system. In the innovative project demonstration category, Ayush Pathak claimed the top spot. Aditya won the software hackathon by presenting a "Facial Attendance System Using Artificial Intelligence" prototype.

The success of Tech Fest 2024 underscores the immense potential of young India in the fields of technological innovation and engineering. MIT's leadership committed to organizing such events regularly to further nurture students' creativity and technical skills. All winners received certificates and emblems, with participation certificates awarded to all attendees.
