Successful Conclusion of "Science Fest Biome 2024" at MIET
The Department of Biotechnology and Microbiology at Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) successfully concluded its two-day science festival "Biome 2024" on Monday. The event saw participation from around 600 students who gained valuable insights into future prospects and career opportunities in biotechnology.
On the second day, nearly 300 students took part in various scientific activities and benefited from the science exhibition. The program included drama, quizzes, model building, and poster competitions. Students also gained in-depth knowledge about new advancements and research areas in biotechnology.

3rd - Vansh Kumar (Yashvant Mill Inter College)
Technical Rangoli Competition:
1st - Alina, Anjali and Simran (RG PG College, Meerut)
2nd - Adahi and Radhika (SDSS School)
3rd - Riya, Palak, Mannu, Neha and Vanshika (MIET)
At the closing ceremony, Dr. Asad Amir, Head of the Biotechnology and Microbiology Department, presented awards to the winners and encouraged students to pursue careers in this field. He emphasized that such events promote scientific thinking and create new opportunities for students' future development.
The festival successfully heightened interest in science and technology among students, inspiring them to reach new heights in this field in the future.
