Tablet Distribution Ceremony for 349 Meritorious Students at Shri Venkateshwara University Strengthens Digital India Initiative

Meerut: A grand tablet distribution ceremony was held at Shri Venkateshwara University under the Uttar Pradesh government’s "Swami Vivekananda Youth Empowerment Scheme," where over 349 MBBS and nursing students received tablets. The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Hari Singh Dhillon, an MLA for teachers, who emphasized that a technologically empowered youth will be the driving force behind India's journey to becoming a global leader once again.

Dr. Sudhir Giri, Chairman of the Venkateshwara Group, praised Uttar Pradesh's leading role in realizing the dream of Digital India. Dr. Rajeev Tyagi, Pro-Chancellor, highlighted the significant impact of government initiatives like Skill India and Ayushman Bharat in accelerating India’s path toward development by 2047.

The ceremony, held at the university’s Dr. C.V. Raman Auditorium, was attended by several dignitaries, including Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Krishna Kant Dave and Registrar Dr. Piyush Pandey. The event was skillfully anchored by Rinki Sharma.
