Meerut. A one-day soap making workshop was successfully organized by the MIET Incubation Forum, Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, and the Pharmacy Department. Thirty women from self-help groups participated in this workshop. The primary aim was to empower women and familiarize them with the art of soap making.
During the program, Akanksha, Apoorva, and Bhoomi explained various methods of making fragrant and medicinal soaps in detail. They discussed the technical aspects of soap production, necessary materials, and quality control, enabling the women to start their own businesses.
Outreach Head Dr. Swapna Suman, Dr. Shikha Dhawan, Sushil Kumar Sharma, and Rehan Ahmed also participated in the workshop and encouraged the women. They emphasized that such workshops are a crucial step toward women's empowerment.
