Meerut: The Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology (MIET) organized a grand orientation program for its B.Tech first-year students. The event featured the esteemed presence of Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh, Dean Academics Dr. Sanjeev Singh, Dean of First Year Dr. Vineet Kumar, and Head of Department (HOD) of First Year Dr. Nidhi Chaudhary, along with several key faculty members who offered inspiration to the students.
In his keynote address, Director Dr. Sanjay Kumar Singh advised students to set clear academic and personal goals while emphasizing the importance of remaining vigilant and adaptable to the ongoing changes in the technological field. He encouraged students to engage in continuous learning, stay active, and mentally prepare themselves for future challenges.
Dean Academics Dr. Sanjeev Singh highlighted the significance of time management, balancing academic and extracurricular activities, and fostering collaboration with peers and faculty. He stressed the need for building a strong academic foundation and developing soft skills, which are crucial for career development.
