MEERUT | Meerut Institute of Engineering and Technology, Meerut organized a Live Workshop on “COVID – 19 AND MENTAL HEALTH" on Saturday, 22nd May 2021 for all the staff and students. The coordinator of this workshop Dr. Arun Parwate formally welcomed and introduced the esteemed speaker and highlighted the importance of this topic and brief about the current situation and how can make everyone calm during this pandemic period. Also explained that how the COVID-19 pandemic has increased anxiety and depression for many people, as life as we know it has changed and the future feels unpredictable and out of our control.
The Chief Guest and the Speaker of this event was Dr. Vidya S. Sonwane, Nagpur. She is practicing predictive homeopathy for the last 8 years along with Dr. Kishor Narad Predictive Homeopathy Clinic in Nagpur. Their hospital mission is to prove how homeopathy is scientific and homeopathy can treat all types of diseases.
This workshop was mainly focused on how the Covid – 19 and Mental Health Balance. Speaker explained that how this virus infects a human health and what are the remedial precautions to be taken during this Covid period. Also how to keep peace and harmony all the times when patients affected by this Covid-19 virus. Also explained how to take care during isolation and quarantine period, how to improve our immunity power by way of doing Yoga, various breathing exercises like pranayama regularly. As per the doctor’s opinion by practicing mindfulness in our day-to-day lives can significantly increase our capacity to cope with traumatic events, improve control over our emotional states, reduce anxiety, and stress related symptoms. Whenever in stress, take a long and deep breath. Finally, question-answer session was conducted and Dr. Kishor Narad and Dr. Vidya Sonwane given all the answers which were raised by the participants.
The coordinator of this program Dr. Arun Parwate has proposed the Vote of thanks and he has appreciated the special efforts taken by Dr. Kishor Narad, Dr. Vidya Sonwane & Prof. Satish Sonwane for making this live workshop show in a grand and successful way from Nagpur.
